Right clicking on one of those titles and hitting "Install Game" results in a steam error stating "invalid platform". So with Rain World and the other games mentioned for all of them the "Install"-button is disabled in the steam library as if I was running the mac version of steam. There are several Android emulators for Mac, but BlueStacks is one of the best and easiest general users. With this, one can enjoy over 2.8 million apps from the Play Store and elsewhere. Yupp it works for me for most games as well (played a bunch of Skyrim recently). I don't know if you received that same message with those games, but the error message that you received with Rain World seems pretty fixable, specially if it was Steam who produced it. PCSX2 is a PlayStation2 emulator capable of running commercial games. Run the 7-Zip installer that you downloaded, follow all of the steps, and install it. Sometimes there are differences between Steam and GOG versions, sometimes the dependencies of a port that are installed by Steam break the port, and sometimes it just works :P Unfortunately that method not always work. Has the approach been tested recently? Maybe there was an update for Rain World and it is no longer compatible with whatever Windows distribution Portingkit is emulating? Maybe it has something to do with High Sierra (most other games run fine so I don't think this to be the case)? However, this did still result in the notification "invalid platform". When you reach the advanced view, check the Steam checkbox and PK will do the rest for you ) You can install the Steam version of the game in the GOG port by pressing More -> Advanced Installation instead of Install. Not really helpful to share this on the steam group. Portingkit requires the DRM-free gog.com version of the game.
